SHIPPING

Free Ground Shipping on Orders over $199.99 (*US ORDERS ONLY). We provide quality fast delivery on all orders. With multiple locations that we ship from, we assure fast delivery. All in stock orders are shipped from the nearest warehouse to reduce shipping time. All orders that are received before 10:00 a.m. EST are usually shipped that business day. Orders with multiple items that qualify for “FREE Ground Shipping” must be shipped together. When a multiple item order has an item that is on backorder and qualifies for the “FREE Ground Shipping”, the items that are in stock will be set aside until the backorder items are in. Once all items are in stock, the order will be shipped.

All orders from the lower 48 US States will be shipped via Ground unless the order has been upgraded to one of the Express Shipping services.

  • All shipping prices are for orders shipped in the lower 48 US States.
  • Additional $5 shipping charges will be applied to all orders shipped to AK and HI.
  • Larger items, such as spotting scopes and telescopes may require additional charges due to oversize packages.
  • All Ground orders must be shipped to a physical address, no P.O. Boxes.
  • All addresses must be accurate and correct.
  • All address correction charges will be the responsibility of the customer. The $10.00 address correction fee will be charged back to the customer.
  • If orders are to be shipped express shipping and are placed on Friday after freight carriers have already picked up for the day, the next pick up day would be on Monday’s.  Orders shipping Overnight or 2nd Day air must be place before 8:00am to ship out express that day. If order is placed after this time frame, the package will ship out the next day.

WARRANTY

All products that are sold through The Optic Zone are warrantied through the manufacturer and come with a US warranty only.  Items shipped internationally must be sent back to us at The Optic Zone for warranty work (all shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer on warranty issues).  To learn more about the warranty on a particular product, please contact the manufacturer or The Optic Zone, by emailing us at info@theopticzone.com.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

The Optic Zone is also happy to serve our international customers. Orders placed by International customers may require an Export License with the US Government, this process if free of charge and typically takes 3-5 weeks for processing, but can take longer for certain countries. All International orders are usually shipped within 3-4 Business days. Out of stock items, notification will be done by email. All credit cards are automatically authorized at the time of the order.  All credits to international credit cards are credited in USD, so if the order is cancelled from the time the order is placed to the time of the actual shipping, the customer is responsible for any differences due to currency exchange rate changes during that time.  Credit card orders maybe subject to a back ground check and address verification to reduce the frequency of credit card fraud. The Optic Zone reserves the right to contact the customer for Bank information, such as address, phone number and contact person. All credit card orders require phone number and correct email for possible contact. All orders shipped via the discretion of The Optic Zone. Typical shipping is via UPS and is fully insured.  US International Priority Mail shipments to European may only be allowed to be insured for the maximum value of $650.  Additional shipping charges will be applied if multiple packages are requested.  If The Optic Zone is not notified to ship the order in multiple packages, the order will be shipped in one package and insured for the maximum amount allowed.  Shipping charges will vary depending on Country and Location.  All International orders require customs paperwork and all items will have the full declared purchase price. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges on return items due to address errors, incorrect information and/or delivery errors and manufactured defective products. The recipient is responsible for all duties and taxes.  Canadian customers looking to purchase a riflescope must first apply for an import permit with the Canadian Dept. of Foreign Affairs.  Once you have obtain the import permit, a copy must be emailed to us, so we can apply for an export license with the US Government.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

The Optic Zone offers a 15 day money back guarantee. If you are not happy with your new or unused item, you may return it for a complete refund of the purchase price within 15 days. All returns must have a Return Authorization Number (RA#). To receive a RA#, please call us at 1-231-398-0216. All items returned without a RA# will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Upon receiving a RA#, the product must be returned to our location within 10 business days. If not returned within 10 business days, the returning package with be subject to a 15% restocking fee. All returns must be in new and unused condition in the original box, along with all original packaging and paperwork. The Optic Zone reserves the rights to inspect all items returned. Any item that is returned, used or without all the necessary paperwork will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. All defects are subject to Manufacturer’s Warranty. Shipping charges on all returns and exchanges are the customer’s responsibility.  On returns, the amount returned would be for the products only.  No refund on any shipping charges will be applied.  Special order and custom items can not be returned for a refund.  All sales are final.

How to return or exchange an item.

Call 1-231-398-0216 to get a Return Authorization number. Once you have received your RA#, securely package your item for return. Write the associated RA# on the outside of the box for our reference. Ship the item back to us, fully insured, using any carrier of your choice. Please include a copy of the original invoice along with any instructions. Ship the package to the following address:

PRICE MATCHING

The Optic Zone offers some of the lowest prices on quality optics and accessories, but there is an occasion where you may find an item cheaper. We will try to match prices to the best of our ability. All items to be priced match must be equivalent or identical to the item you are requesting. We reserve the right to take in account any promotions that are being offered in the calculation of price matching. We do not price match any grey market items. We reserve the right to ask for the business or URL to verify pricing. No price matching on sale items.
