Athlon Ares BTR Gen3 HD Rifle Scopes for Long-Range, Precision, and Field Shooting
Athlon Ares BTR rifle scopes are precision-oriented optics for shooters who want a step up in glass and mechanical performance without moving to the larger Ares ETR platform. The current Ares BTR Gen3 HD family includes 2.5-15x50 and 4.5-27x50 models, all with first-focal-plane illuminated reticles, 30mm tubes, exposed turrets, and 3.9 inches of eye relief. Athlon offers APLR13 MOA and APRS13 MIL reticles, so shooters can keep the reticle and turret system in the same measurement language they already use for holds and dialing.
Athlon builds the Gen3 around HD low-dispersion glass for improved light transmission and sharper images, along with a Precision Zero Stop for a positive return to the original zero. Both magnification ranges are 13.8 inches long and weigh 27.3 ounces, but they serve different roles. The 2.5-15x50 gives you a wider 41.8-foot field of view at 100 yards on the low end, while the 4.5-27x50 adds magnification for smaller targets and longer distances.
